Lawn Care
Lawn Cutting Services
The process of cutting grass is simple. First, we keep our blades sharp daily, which allows precision cuts for different quality grasses. We go one step further and invest in a high quality mower. One that has counter rotating blades, bags to the back which allows for reverse cuts, and RPM's that reach as high as 7,000. The name of the mower is Walker, simply the best cut on the market.
Aerating
Aerating is the process of mechanically removing small plugs of thatch and soil from the lawn to improve soil aeration. Aerating twice annually is beneficial for all lawns. Both the spring and fall are the ideal times to aerate. Immediately after aeration, your lawn will be covered with small plugs pulled from the soil. Within a week or two after aerating the plugs of dirt will soon disappear into the lawn, and you will start to notice white activity roots where the holes were. The roots are a sign that the grass is responding to the additional oxygen, moisture, and nutrients in the soil from the aeration process. Aerating your lawn repeatedly over time, your lawn will show enhanced heat and drought stress tolerance, but don't expect miracles from a single aeration. Lawns that receive this care in the long run will be more healthier, more vigorous, easier to maintain, and have fewer pest problems.
New Lawns
New Lawns are carefully grated with a minimum of four inches of rich loam. We will properly fertilize and lime depending on the soil test. options are seeding, sod, and hydro-seeding. A personal consultation is best for new lawns.
