We had a client that needed something mailed to him in Florida -upon getting the item out team smelled a strong gas odor. We quickly called the gas company they came out to determine there was sand in the line, probably from nearby construction & stuck the line open. It did have a safety feature that vents it to the outside. However, how long would that have gone on and not been heating the house. They purged the line & all back to normal. Because of our team and what will we do for clients we found this problem and fixed it before serious damaged happened.
That is why you should have some one looking at your house while you are away.
